DCCS and PDS Camera Ready Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers accepted to DCCS and PDS will appear in the main proceedings of DSN 2013. This page contains informations on preparing and submitting the camera-ready DCCS and PDS papers.

The following steps need to be taken to have the final manuscript published in the
proceedings of DSN 2013 conference:

  1. Apply the appropriate manuscript formatting instructions
  2. Check the IEEE Xplore compliance by PDF eXpress Plus
  3. Upload the paper by PDF eXpress Plus
  4. Submit the copyright form

Formatting Instructions

The manuscript templates for MS Word and LaTeX can be found at the following link:
http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
(choose the ones corresponding to the US Letter page format).

Please make sure that the paper does not exceed the page limit (see the DSN 2013 submission rules).

Checking the IEEE Xplore Compliance

To ensure that the submitted PDF files are IEEE Xplore compliant, they must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress check.

The authors have to log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus system at http://www.pdf-express.org/plus/. If you are a new user, you need to register first (it is a free service). The confrence ID is dsn2013xp.

Uploading the Paper by PDF eXpress Plus

If the IEEE PDF eXpress check has been passed, log in to your IEEE PDF eXpress account and approve your PDF for collection.

Submitting the Copyright Form

IEEE policy requires that prior to publication all authors or their employers must transfer to the IEEE in writing any copyright they hold for their individual papers. Transferring copyright is a mandantory requirement for publication.

Please fill out and sign the form (available in PDF format at http://www.ieee.org/documents/ieeecopyrightform.pdf or in Word format at http://www.ieee.org/documents/ieeecopyrightform.doc),  scan it into a PDF file, and mail it to the publication chair at [email protected].

The “IEEE PUBLICATION TITLE” field is:  “2013 43rd Annual IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN)”

Conference Registration and Presentation

Finally, do not forget that at least one paid full registration is required for each paper.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
